Not sure Wilshire deserves to be mentioned amongst all that young talent!

personally don't see all the doom and gloom about England.
yes Germany and the superpowers have better teams but on their day England could cause an upset. |

Sterling will make the starting XI at this rate, let alone make the squad.

I still maintain that England should be playing Gerrard, Barkley, Lallana, Ox Chamberlain.
In all honesty I expect Gerrard, Lampard, Barry and another. The manager is a play it safe merchant and won't use all of the talented youngsters we have. Shame because I agree with your post. We do have some good players coming through. |

the lad is class.
Even Prandelli said Sterling would make the Italian squad. With fearless players like him there is hope for England. |

hodgson is a fcuking idiot tbh. |

Sterling, Barkley, Henderson, Lallana and the Ox should all go.
Don`t expect England to win the thing but let`s look forward rather than back. Like many however it would not surprise me to see Lamps, Milner, Barry, Cleverly etc on the plane. Cole or Shaw is another choice. |

good luck to england in the world cup. but lads if you think any of them young players will make a difference to england in the world cup, your all living in the land of oz!

I don't know about making a difference but habitual divers like Sterling, Barkley and Ox are always liable to change a game.

...we certainly have enough young , vibrant and confident attacking talent to make an impact going forward.......hopefully Hodgson will have the bottle to bench Rooney if cant regain his form and fitness...seems to slow the play down quite often.
Sturridge as the spearhead with a combination of Sterling Lallana Berkely Ox Chamberlain in behind with Gerrard and Henderson holding could make a go of things. I would worry about our defence though. |
