OK Sam has more cash and can attract better players but they still do the same thing.

Alladyce has spent big money to play dross like he does. Carroll £17m, Jarvis £7.5m, Downing £5m, Maiga £4.7m (
 ) plus chunky wages. He was also totally exposed as a one trick pony while Carroll was injured. I can't knock him for his record overall but his football is dire and his self regard is laughable.As he couldn't get results from his own squad with Carroll out it would have been interesting to see what he would have got out of the Palace squad. |

They do not do the same thing for a start and the fact you ask such a question casts doubt over your knowledge or ability to understand what either has accomplished.
Rewind to start of the season and track the match by match progress of the two clubs, you will then be able to identify what is different between the two and if you can't then unfortunately there is no hope for you. |

Both successful managers who don't get the credit they deserve. The difference is big sam has finished in the top ten multiple times where as Pulis is waiting for a top ten finish.
Compare the records of the two at bolton and stoke. Granted Sam didn't have funding of the coates family but he still found a way to greater success. Pulis has done well at Palace this year and shows the value of a coach who structure and organise a team to play a specific way. |
