Anyone know what has happened here? Either it's the longest half time in the world or the games abandoned?
thanks

Game abandoned. Supporter/hooligan killed in fight before the game. Word got out, and fans stormed the pitch during the game.

It happened 30 minutes before kick off about 800 metres from the ground. I was there. Horrific. The town is currently on lock down.

Just watched this on a Swedish link after the Malmo match. I thought it happened during the match as they showed someone wearing a grey hoody sprinting the length of the pitch, but it was before and for some reason happens a lot in Sweden, I thought they were placid people.

Yeah that was right before the real pitch invasion happened. Djuråden fans got the news that he had died, and came in from two entrances. Yes, its a peaceful country but the minority are destroying it.

Saw this posted on a site about the dead bloke:

"Before today's match between Helsingborgs IF and Djurgårdens IF a fan of Djurgårdens IF was hit in the head by a bottle. 40 minutes later he was confirmed dead in the hospital.

He walked to the match together with his brother when 3 fans of Helsingborg suddenly attacked them with bottles. While on the ground they continued to beat and kick him.

Fans of Djurgården shouted "murderers!" towards Helsingborg's fans and some fans of Djurgården stormed the pitch to stop the game. After match big riots in city.

According to Djurgården fans and sport director, the 43-year old victim, father to 4 kids, were neither a hooligan or involved in any trouble before the attack."

Tragic. Hope they catch the c*nts who did it.
