About time.

What about the FA?

There was no Safety Certificate given to Hillsborough.

I don't have any time for Liverpool or there fans but anyone that links Hillsborough and Heysel are childish, igonorant morons who should never be allowed an opinion on anything to do with football ever.

You're right, you arent scoring any points because the point you made was spectacularly wrong. Dragging up what? Parents, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters want justice for family members that went to a football match and never came home. The families have been shat on by media like the Sun, made to feel like their family member was some sort of criminal by a corrupt police force and decades later still have no one held accountable for their deaths. I think they're quite entitled to be "dragging stuff up"

My thoughts on this are that no Police should be prosecuted for what happened that day. Mistakes were made but it was a very different time and culture.

But if there has been an institutional cover up and people have tried to pervert the course of justice to cover their own erses they are horrid, nasty corrupt **** and should have the book thrown at them.

Mistakes were made that day but that's not what the Liverpool people want justice for.
They want justice because of the cover-up and the orchestrated campaign to blame the fans.

Always brought up to respect the Police but they are a rancid organisation from head to toe. The leadership are nothing but crooks and I would not trust any of them. What a sad indictment on this country and the general degradation of standards that has led to people with zero qualifications being able to join in the first place. The top and bottom of this is that you have a bunch of morons in charge of policing in this great country.

I can be here forever if I want but people such as yourself are so blinkered that you only have one point of view...

Hillsborough was used for FA Cup Semi-Finals for many years.

Always full.Same Police.Same Stewards.Same (non-safety) Measures.

I'm afraid any trust I might have had in the police disappeared during the miners strike; probably more thugs and malcontents in that organization than any other. I respect the Hillsborough families attempts to get to the absolute truth but regrettably time and the continued silence from those responsible will prevent it ever being resolved satisfactorily. There has never been a genuine effort by the authorities to reveal the truth and their culpability for actions taken by those police officers who are responsible. If there are people out there who really believe the police represent society and the well being of individuals then I'm sorry but their belief is sadly misplaced
By:
homefortea
When: 27 Mar 14 22:38
And as a fan of the miners geordie1956 how would you react to the fact that if "Thatcher" had not "closed" down the mines (despite the fact that previous Labour Governments had closed down far more) they would have had to be closed anyway under the rancid Blair/Brown Governments, due to their commitments to the EU and various other alleged "Global Warming" Treaties...

And another thing..

Who the feck would want to be a coal miner breathing in all that dust and dying in your fifties when even with the Welfare Cap you can claim £25k a year ...

By:

When: 27 Mar 14 22:51
You simply show your ignorance; my comments were about police actions during the miners strike which have been found to be illegal and often unwarranted - they simply acted as the tool on behalf of Thatcher who wanted to completely destroy the coal mining industry. People worked where there were job opportunities - they at least deserved a realistic wage for providing energy used throughout industry - you seem to infer everyone has entitlements of £25k a year - spurious claims made by a typical conservative voter. The points you raise about other labour administrations is of course yet another red herring which is meaningless nonsense. I wouldn't expect anything more of you and you do not disappoint - I doubt you have earned a decent living throughout your life

geordie1956...

Of course the Police should act as tools of the state - think about it...

Consult the man from Huddersfield with the pipe,no brains and a sponsored raincoat for who closed more mines and put more miners out of work...

Never Voted Conservative in my life....

Every single- I will repeat EVERY SINGLE Labour Government that has been defeated has left this Country in a mess due to overspending and greasing the palms of its paymasters...

I would wager I could buy and sell you ten times over and still have money to spend...

do you spend a lot of time alone?  have few friends?  constantly need to attempt to belittle others? fail miserably......

a sad excuse of human life.

i'm not a labour voter, but your statement regarding the overspending with every defeated administration is unfounded.

HFT we all know who has no brains.

You have no capacity for rational thought and swallowed hook line and sinker the lies propogated by the police and media at the time. Now the real truth has been uncovered in which a horrendous smear campaign was instigated against innocent fans (in no small part to the tireless efforts of the bereaved to uncover a smear campaign AKA 'dragging it up' by the ignorant) you choose to wilfully ignore it and try to petty point score by making crass remarks about Heysel.

Amongst the dead were children. They never went to Heysel. They never caused trouble. They were victims of police negligence. The police then blamed them. Now, tell me this; if you were a parent would you not seek to correct this?

Please arm yourself with facts before committing to ink comments which are grossly untrue and in insult to dead innocent people.

The orchestrated lies of the Govt and the Police have been going on for years, The Lawrence case, the closing of the minig industry Hillsborough, Plebgate....it goes on and on. I dont trust the Police and I definitely dont trust any politician, particularly if they are wearing a blue rosette. The Hillsborough cover up and the subsequent sullying of the fans was a disgrace. WHilst I dont condone Heysel, the crimes the authorities perpetrated re Hillsborough were in coold blood
