the worst thing is if it's a massacre it might be the end for moyes at the end of the season

fopr all other fans in the league that would be a real shame Cry

two games against very average teams last weds and saturday , was a saving grace for moyes, normal service ressumed tonight the guy is not up to the job , don,t no how many times it needs spelling out ,its not rocket science
Report stridingedge March 25, 2014 10:19 PM GMT
a lot seem to be making the excuses that the players aren't good enough

of course new players are needed but the degeneration in 1 season and the lack of effort most weeks suggest moyes is getting nowhere near the possible commitment and performance from this group.

there must be a lot of nerves from the fans at the thought of him set loose with a big wad to spend.
Report berto77 March 25, 2014 10:22 PM GMT
Totally agree with that.  A dip was expected but not this.  Everyone, including Moyes, could see the areas that needed strengthening and he did nothing last summer.
Report scott1092 March 25, 2014 10:22 PM GMT
they ve already spent 65 million under moyes to very little to the team , the board surely have to wake up or dont they give a toss ,cause it is nt there money, he d scare me to death ,going for the weekly shopping
Report berto77 March 25, 2014 10:25 PM GMT
Actually p1ssing away £27m on Fellaini is worse than nothing.  It proves he can't be trusted.

Impossible for them to beat Bayern.

Have to admit, 1.52 looks an absolute gift on Bayern.
Report cheetham11 March 25, 2014 10:29 PM GMT
Bayern are 1.52 to beat Man U @ OT.

Thing is, United won't want to look daft by getting rid too quickly.

All the hype about him being the natural successor an' all that - they'll

never live it down if they admit they were wrong. Still, give him the money

to buy and things might still work out. Trouble is, fans, shareholders, etc

have been so used to success ALL the time, just about EVERY year

for the last twenty years that this situation must seem totally alien to them.
Report dbrfcno1 March 25, 2014 10:38 PM GMT
They can give him 100 million. What big players are going to be hoping Man U come calling or less they can get a seat on the 300k a week gravy train
Report scott1092 March 25, 2014 10:39 PM GMT
a thats some gravy train ,
Report stridingedge March 25, 2014 10:44 PM GMT
the thing for me , has he shown the basic minimum expected, some tactical nous and commitment and respect from the players. to me the answer is no, it's a huge risk imo to give another season to someone that has no proven track record at the level and has seen such an alarming regression from a title winning team in 1 season (though in all honesty the writing was on the wall ages ago).

as a liverpool fan i've seen from when i was a kid how quickly things can go bad, from a place of invincibility to obscurity.

this is a huge call for utd as to what they do next.
Report dbrfcno1 March 25, 2014 10:44 PM GMT
It's the only way they will attract players. No champions league football either next season.
Report scott1092 March 25, 2014 10:46 PM GMT
they can,t go another season with moyes surely , every man and is dog can see the fella s so far out of is depth its shame full now ,
Report dbrfcno1 March 25, 2014 10:47 PM GMT
Be cheaper buying out his 6 year contract than giving him an  open cheque book
Report Darlo Bantam March 25, 2014 10:48 PM GMT
Has Moyes ever beaten one of the top four away from home yet? He can't do on when his track record against the top teams doesn't include any wins.
Report scott1092 March 25, 2014 10:49 PM GMT
yes it would be alot cheaper buying is contract out ,
Report dbrfcno1 March 25, 2014 10:53 PM GMT
Just look at Everton this season and that's them selling felani who was one of there better players.

A gift from the betting Gods, it's like Usain Bolt coming up against Bernard Manning

If Utd beat Bayern it will be one of the biggest upsets in the history of sport.
