Ref didn't play the 5 but he should have played 6 as the clock was on 91 when the 5 was announced. Also I reckon there was at least 3 mins for injuries in the first half when only 1 was added.
blimey it was hard work for United ..glad they got through but greeks bit unlucky to find de Gea in superb form. Rafael is a liabilty discipline wise and plays like a headless chicken.Hate to say it but dont think they will progress unless they get Dortmund or Athletico next

liggy0, it just goes to show how misleading stats can be. There are lies, damned lies and then there's statistics. Did you read the stats during the important part of the game (while it was still a competition)? Because after you score goals most sides tend to take the foot off the gas and allow the opposition to come forward in order to hit on the break. And that's just one example of how stats do not tell the whole story. Also, What did Man U do with their possession in the 1st leg? Very little if I remember correctly. However, I do remember the Greeks surging forward in wave after wave of attacks, which exposed United's fragile defence.
You should never judge a game by stats. They are extremely misleading for many different reasons.

Has anyone seen a worse challenge from a defender for the 1st goal pen, you would think the defender had received a large brown envelope for that ludicrous challenge.
Defending seems to be a weak point for most of the "big" teams from what I have seen this season, apart from Chelsea that is
