It says something about the setup of European club football that a team like spurs would rather finish 4th in their domestic league rather than go all out to win a cup in Europe. It's all wrong. Europa League is a state. Nothing wrong with the Europa league, problem is some deluded clubs think they are too big for it. If Spurs were good enough they woukd be in the CL every year, on top of that they would be hammered early every year. |
