Why on earth the Brighton manager admitted before the match that his players were tired is totally beyond me. Firstly, it gives his own players an excuse if they underperform, secondly, it gives the opposition the upper hand from the off. Can you imagine Cloughie or Fergie announcing that his side was tired??!!

Fair point Kenilworth. I just wanted to vent my frustration after seeing the match and I couldn't see any other threads that were relevant.
