Eriksen was a good buy, Paulinho good enough for the Brazilian world cup squad, can't really judge Chiriches or Lamela as they've been injured, only Soldado has been a failure. He's a decent enough striker with a good scoring record in la liga, just wasn't suited to the system Spurs played. Spurs needed a Benteke/Lukaku type centre forward, not a goal poacher.

...bought very well...just havn't been utilised effectively or had the confidence instilled in them to let their talents flourish.....
chadli and lamella will be superb once their true ability is harnessed.....put them together with sandro and erikksen and the core is there for a superb team. |
