A quick question if I may.  Obviously without going into too much detail, what made you select the bets you advised out of all the matches played around the world today?  Are they picks based on 'value' (i.e price sensitivity), specialist knowledge, statistical comparisons (etc)....?  Thanks

Meadow - I deffinately understand what you're saying and it's reasonable to give that advice. I know I can't prove this in any way (and I guess I don't really need to), but today was a horrible day for me in betting and I do normally generate a good profit every day. Please check back in some bets time and if we get to 30 and it hasn't improved, I will happily end the thread :)

Robd - My predictions on NBA are all based on experience. I watch NBA every day for around 5 hours. Football is more from statistics and knowledge of the teams. I don't care that much about value I just pick teams that I believe will win (I understand it sounds like that's what every punter does and fails at).
Every day me and my friend take a look at the markets of the day. NBA I pick the markets that stand out to me. Football I pick my selections from stats and knowledge as I stated before :)

The only way people will make any money following this is by laying all his selections,any Numpty can select odds on shots,this is probably the most stupid thread on here,Give it up!

Give the guy a chance to post his results.  He has clearly said that if it gets to thirty bets with no sign of improvement, he will pack it in. He has posted all his bets clearly in advance, with a daily updated profit/loss.  I wish him the best of luck but think he has the wrong betting stategy.

On the other hand, one positive thing about this thread is that it's about the only one staying anywhere near the top that's not about Moyes/ManU/Jose/the Big 5 or 6, all those endless monotonous threads about the same subjects, same old, same old, yaaawwwn.

That,to be frank, is nuts.  Value is everything.  Whether it's a premier league top quarter of the table at home or a conference level away side, you have to try and weigh up value.  Everyone can work out what the "likely" result is.

Value is subjective...and of course personal.  There is no hard fast way to make consistent money gambling on football unless you are a skilled trader (with a massive bank) both leading up to a match or in running.

Hi Money Chaser! Most of the wins haven't been from Betfair but from other bookmakers. They simply are bets that aren't available on Betfair. For the few wins that are on Betfair I will start to deduct commision though :)

you cant really call the poster a scammer, though, because he isn't actually asking for money. If he continues to post tips, and then caries on with the proven profit formula, and then asks people to email him, well then I can see your point.
He could say the 'profit' is proven to himself of course, now he is posting them up on a forum he isn't proving anything - as yet.

Oh and concerning comission: I will deduct comission from my next update (including previous wins on betfair). Just keep in mind that of the 14 wins, only some have been on Betfair, so it won't be that much :)

Good to see your NBA selections are doing well.  Have you thought of just sticking to these markets (for the next 30 bets maybe?) as these seem to be far outperforming your football ones?

Theserbian - We are getting there. Just stop caps locking and we are fine :) Also you have misunderstood what I said about the 30 bets. What I said was:

At the time I was at -400 something, and now I am in profit. I would consider that improving.

Robd - You are absolutely right. I will be sticking to NBA predictions, as I have done for the last 10 or so predictions. I actually do turn a profit on football but it is far less than on NBA :) I will be posting my selections on NBA eclusively now and keep away from football ;)

1 / I don't understand the thread title, why have you said 'Predictions that work - proven profits' - why do you have to prove any thing to anyone why do you have to show us your predictions work when you're not obliged too

2 / The Dragon's last post on his thread was 8th of February after posting every weekend without fail since August, this fred started on the same day, 8th of February and he hasn't been seen since. You can see the coincidence.
