Atletico haven't lost for months and in 4 games this season v Barca and Real are unbeaten and only conceded 1 goal.
They also won at Real in the league earlier in the season and beat them at the Bernabeu in last seasons final. |

The top teams in Spain still seem to retain some interest in the Copa Del Rey - pity the FA Cup doesn't have the same appeal to most Premiership clubs irrespective of the fact the top teams have generally won it in the last 20 years - it is a trophy with a diminishing history unfortunately

In fairness they only have one cup in Spain and it is the semi finals.
Our top teams will care about the FA Cup when it gets to the later rounds and i'm pretty sure Arsenal, Liverpool, City and Chelsea will field strong sides against each other in the next round. |

fair point - when the top teams play each other there is still some enthusiasm to play their better players - it just doesn't seem to have the same appeal to players or supporters of premiership teams - they seem more interested in maintaining their status in the top flight - pity as the cup used to have more credibility than the league back in the 60s, 70s & even the 80s as it gave hope of success to many teams and generated continued interest as the season wore on if you were still involved

Fair enough though i guess, can't blame sides for wnating to stay in the top flight.
I'm not sure there's that much enthusiasm for the cup in spain though outside of the big clubs. With ties being over 2 legs, unless they draw each other early on it's pretty much guaranteed the big 3 will all reach the semi finals. Levante fielded reserve sides v Barca in both legs of the last round. |

just depends what madrid want to do...go to the away leg with a 1-0 lead...i dont think so
|
|
By:
I'd expect lots of silly fouls and time wasting from Atlético, can't see too many goals myself. small bets on 0-0 and 1-1 for me for an interest.

Athletico have a superb defence. Low scoring game for me

Hate going long odds on bookings'. But 9pts or more seems fair @ 1.25. Would like to see AM taking the lead, would crank up the
pressure. But deffo want a goal before H/T so heads get cloudy. |

Just saw a player spit on the floor, surely a booking ungentlemanly conduct.

few correct scores here hard one to judge, think might be a few goals for both sides gl all
