Greed springs to mind.

Won't affect me, I haven't had a winner in feckin ages.

I guess putting the commission up means all the workings can have a pay rise in April

Or we will soon enjoy BF logo at some EPL team T-shirts

Hope they sort out the site to stop it crashing with the extra revenue

On a serious note,withdrawn most of my funds,rest will ensue at the end of the month,by by betfair.

What idiots, are they trying to go out of business or what! Greed, greed, greed. Will come back to bite them in the b0ll0cks.

suspect they are making more money from the so-called "sportsbook" and accas and don't care any more about the exchange. only one answer which is vote with your feet.

Not UK. Alot of other countries. Sweden, Canada and a few more.

It seems like most people outside the UK are now paying 5-9%

It started last year with around 20 countries. Not they have increased that number to even further.

If they try it here then that will be that.

If they increase people will not leave,I think we are all creatures of habit.

czech republic is 5% from jan30 it is 6.5%

Sweden, Canada 6.5%. Think Ukraine is 7%.

It is way too high.

some people had predict that about charges and commission four years ago.
now i can predict that in 2016 betfair will charge 20% monthly profits and 8% on every bet.
they are greedy animals , only you and me can stop them now..

more like less competition in them countries so they can exploit them more, I would imagine.

At least for Sweden. No taxes at all. No extra costs at all.

The competition is all on the internet. Swedes are savvy internet users. They will just start switching.

Markets stay suspended after the goal and then Valencia equalise after 6 minutes.

Finally they wake up and unsuspend the markets.

With a service like that, it's only fair they charge 6-7%

That's the premium service they're offering.

I have had no emails or messages regarding my commission being increased.. I guess im not effected

I think they are trying to kill or severely damage B/F now they are PLC.It is common practise on companies that go PLC.The major shakers & shareholders make a killing on the stock exchange.
They stay on with the firm & run it so badly for a couple of years,that the price crashes & they buy it back for 10% of what they cashed it for & miriculously turn things round & then bingo.
