Trigger: He was a smashing man, he took care of me when my Mum went.

Rodney: Where was your Dad?

Trigger: He died a couple of years before I was born.

Del: We had a great team, Denzil in goal, Monkey harris at right back. We had camaraderie.

Yeah that was the funniest clip ever. Sad news particularly as they were making a one off episode to be screened in March.

Sad times such a legend RIP Trig

Used to go to a gym I went to for a while, saw him around the place and he sat opposite in a jacuzzi one time when I was there with a few mates, he didn't care we were rowdy  talking loudly, just plonked himself down, we all knew he was but out of respect didn't bother with the 'alright trig' or 'dave' line, tempted on the way out though.

RIP, grat character

Sad news - very good versatile actor - made Trigger such a comic creation, he's left us with so many treasured memories

Mike: What name have they decided on?
Trigger: If it's a girl they're calling it Sigourney after an actress, and if it's a boy they're naming him Rodney after Dave.

Trigger: Going down the pub, Alan?

Alan: Oh yeah, we'll be there.

Pam: We're going down the pub, are we?

Alan: Got to be polite to Raquel and Del. We've gotta wet the baby's head

Pam: Roughly translated, that means, 'I can't wait to get down the Nags Head and get legless with Del!

Trigger: Take your time, Pam, we've gotta christen the baby first.
