Hull manager Steve Bruce is hoping a sickness bug that has affected nine of his players will not prevent any of them from facing Chelsea.
Paul McShane is out for up to four weeks with an ankle injury sustained against Middlesbrough last weekend.
Chelsea will again be without midfielder Frank Lampard and defender Branislav Ivanovic, with the pair both likely to be absent for a month.
This will be Fernando Torres' 200th appearance in the Premier League.
His record: 102 Liverpool games, 65 goals; 97 Chelsea games, 18 goals.
Bar Petr Cech and John Terry, it's more probable than possible that all the rest of Chelsea's team for this game will be present in Brazil.
Chelsea are unbeaten in their last six games against the Tigers, five of which have been in the Premier League era.
Jose Mourinho's side have won four of the last five league games.
Chelsea's defensive record of 19 goals conceded is bettered only by Arsenal (18).
The Tigers have won just one of their last seven games in the Premier League (W1, D3, L3).
Hull have only faced one of the current top four - Liverpool - at home, winning 3-1 in December.

I think I'll go and do the dishes. Not missing much here. For all that money invested you'd think you could assemble a team who are good enough to put a team like Hull under pressure.

Has anyone seen Torres yet, by the way? Can't remember him having had any part in this yet.
Can't imagine how awful Liverpool must've been that day, losing 3 - 1 to Dull City.
Was just thinking, they look like they've already surrendered. I know Bruce's teams usually do that against Manchester United, but against Chelsea, too?

Mourinho always said it'd take them a while to get going. Since that Stoke debacle, 16 points from 18 and only 2 goals conceded.
Chelsea are doing great results-wise and I have nothing against the club per se, but they're boring. Would be nice if Manchester City won the title on goal difference.
