Not tonight they dont.

I think West Ham would be happy with anything but a hammering.
3-0 would be a good result for them. |
By:
i can see a draw happening, i can see west ham scoring first
By:
elise should have gone to Specsavers
By:
prob, but i'll bet it tonight on some scorecasts, love games like this for shocks
By:
City have scored first in about 80% of home matches, I'd want at least 5/1 on West Ham scoring first
By:
i'll be looking for nearer 400, 1-1 mark noble to score first etc, depends on what west ham can field but it's peanuts outlay
By:
If this was a league game I would not back The Hammers at any price but this is the cup and the form book goes out of the window. West Ham will have everyone up for this as it there last chance to do anything worthwhile this season. They as a club are hurting from the 5-0 cup defeat against Forest caused by resting players for this game and Big Sam's job probably hangs on the result.
By:
City to declare at half time !
By:
I fear for West Ham tonight. City will be looking to win 5 or 6 so they can rest the first team for the away leg. 1.17 is buying money and I'm considering putting half my bank on it. Just want to see the team sheets forst.

Godsend, it doesn't matter if West Ham have everyone up for this because their best simply won't be good enough against whichever team City fields.
By:
West Ham to nick a goal(as many have against City this season) but to ultimately get beaten so Both Teams To Score at around 5/4 looks attractive to me.
By:
backed city over 5.5 goals at 10/1
anyone know probable west ham line up? |
By:
"and Big Sam's job probably hangs on the result"
I can't imagine the west ham board expect to get a result at city tonight. I'd have thought it more likely that his job hangs on their next 2 league games. Cardiff away and newcastle home. |
By:
agreed biscuit, but i thought it was bad form by big sam after the forest game, saying the board knew about his intentions. It didn't show much respect to the travelling faithful.
By:
4/5 Negrado and Evs Dzeko AGS with the magic sign are way out on a limb ! Will struggle to keep both off the scoresheet !
By:
Dangerous to under estimate WHam, expect them to show plenty of fight tonight in an effort to keep the tie alive for the second leg, hard to see anything but a City win on current form but very much doubt it will be a rout, hope not for the fans sake, they deserve better, and hopefully will get City back to the Boleyn with something to play for.

anyone know what price city both teams to score , ?
By:
15/8 best

Would need 1.25 before betting on City
By:
What price Geoff Pike 1st goalscorer?
By:
City are gonna absolutely annihilate them over 2.5
By:
1t5 great price
By:
I recall City losing at home to Villa in last seasons Capital One after extra-time...I'm happy to cheer City on but I'm not going anywhere near that 1.16!

Looks like Carlton Cole could cut a lonely figure on the pitch tonight, only Hammer likely to cross the halfway line...!
By:
64 Mesquita Lopes
Squad number 64 ![]() |

They should have kept Hitzlesperger, there'd be no backs to the wall then.

got 1.37 on over 2.5 goals which i consider very good value.

5-0

Lets all hope Negredo has his shooting boots on ayy
By:
Oh dear thought it was C.Cole, but its J.Cole, with Maiga playing the solo role up front, well somewhere in City's half hopefully...!
