Surprised that he left Palace as he couldn't handle life in the premier league, then swaps it for a championship relegation battle.
He did well at Blackpool but that's balanced out by getting Leicester relegated. And his time at Palace is vastly overrated. People forget the fact that Palace only just about stumbled into the play offs. All their good work was done by Freedman, they were absolutely flying under him. But from the start of December to the last game of the season, Palace under Holloway only won 6 games. They won on the last day but if the season had gone another week or 2, they'd have f*cked it up. He was in charge of Palace for 46 games and only won 14. Now he's being shown up completely by Tony Pulis.
Big gamble for Millwall as he seems a sensitive soul and Millwall's fans aren't going to hold back if things don't start well.

Cringeworthy boring David Brent-style management. If you're a decent manager you shouldn't need to get your players to sign up to a contract promising to be punctual, respectful and hard working. It's like a primary school exercise.
Holloway apparently got his players to sign these contracts when he took over.http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/10943703.Ollie_demands_Millwall_players_sign_up_to_new_conduct_contracts/?ref=arCringeworthy boring David Brent-style management. If you'
Would assure you we were not hoodwinked over Holloways time in charge, the only positive to take from it was his ability to get us through the play offs. Not many of us wanted him after Freedman and 90 per cent didn't think we would make the play offs let alone win them. His purchases for the assault on the Premiership were dire, as proven by the start we made, he is better off sticking with lower tier football, as he refuses to change his tactics irrespective of the opposition, which you can't get away with in the Premiership, wish him well at Millwall, he'll need plenty of time though, to impress his one trick philosophy on the team though.

Holloway is one of the most overrated and disorganised managers out there. 'He got Palace up' is genuinely ludicrous in reality, Palace limped into the playoffs with 8 pts from the last 10 matches, their only win against relegated Peterborough. When Holloway took over, with Palace one point off the lead under Freedman, I fully expected Palace to either get auto prom or be very close to it. To end up having to scratch a win on the last day to get into the playoffs was shambolic. In honesty Holloway should not have still been manager coming into the playoffs, when Palace were quoted as outsiders, such was their form. How Palace won the playoffs is open to interpretation, poor performances from Brighton and Watford? The summer window business was typically a shambles again and his 'sacking' a huge relief. He has made Pulis look like Mourinho and looking at his success over the years, take Charlie Adam out and what are you left with?

next game is Bradford away on wednesday. If we win, that will buy him some time as we will have a chance of getting massacred by chelsea. The owner won't sack him anyway as we can't afford it, only option is that he just decides to walk away!
