Roda at home are generally no pushovers and they'll feel confident after beating Vitesse 3 - 1 midweek (cup match). Provided they don't gift Ajax the goals, because every now and then they do play like a pub team, I don't think it will be an easy task for Ajax. All depends on how much risk Roda dare to take, I guess.
Roda sitting quite deep, Ajax not too bothered yet. Kinda disappointed to see Roda playing like this. Inviting trouble, really.
Seen nothing yet that suggests goals, but his being the Eredivisie it can't be long. 20 minutes gone, time to start backing Over 1.5 goals.

The (Ajax) curse is that the players think they're so good that they only need to perform at 50% (or not even that) to get a result against a bottom-/mid-table club like Roda JC. I can't think of any clubs abroad that would want any of these Ajax players, yet they believe themselves that they're very good footballers. Only very few footballers/teams can afford to play at anything less than 100% and still get the result. These players are mediocre at best. The only reason they can't see that is because the league is full of mediocre players.
Ajax players need to roll up their sleeves and get to work in the second half.

Forgot to add: * The only reason they ... and are wearing an Ajax badge. They think it makes them better, when obviously it does not.
The way ajax are playing they should be able to equalize in the 2nd half. Any thoughts of laying Roda?
I agree with mediocre players. The Teams are more evenly matched than punters think, betting on a named teams at odds on tend to produce regular match turnovers, also Roda with home advantage.

I expect it to come eventually, but I wouldn't bet on Ajax getting it unless they show an enormous improvement in their attitude in the second half. Roda will be more concerned with trying to keep a clean sheet (I don't expect them to manage that), but they'll get their chances on the break and from corners and free kicks. If Ajax are just as lacklustre in the second half as they were in the first, I wouldn't rule out Roda scoring again.
I've got BTTS & Ajax BTTS so reasonably happy with first half. Early Ajax goal please 2nd half.

Roda anything but secure defensively, but how poor are Ajax? It's all very disjointed and not one players seems to have a real idea how to set up a decent, coordinated attack.
Even on what looks like a break Ajax are more interested in passing sideways than moving forward.

Because I don't mind non-triers losing. I've nothing against the club, just don't like players who don't give it their all.

Think it's fair to say that kid won't forget his league debut in a hurry. Only just turned 17, comes off the bench to score twice in the last 5 minutes.
