not worth tieing up your money for however long it takes for City to go out, imo. If you backed them for £100 it would mean having £1800 tied up on here. If the bet was to be settled this evening right now I'd furiously be trying to get my entire bank on Laugh

Do Stan James actually let people bet there these days? Banned me a long time ago

No they don't, same as the rest of them. I have to take a trip to their shops to get bets on.

Help - I want to go to a coral shop to put a bet on, about how much can I put on a 10/3 without it being phoned through to their traders?

Any advice appreciated...

If you're a previous winner and on their shop monitored list they'll phone for permission to lay (ptl) on all your bets. If you're not known you can get away with bets up to a certain liability dependent on what you're betting on.

First time I had been in the shop, it had just opened 2 months before. Was an international football match, Ukraine to win to nil V San Marino iirc

That's surprising for a Ladbrokes shop.

I played safe and asked for £200 @ 10/3 on a football bet at coral and got it down no problem.
