not worth tieing up your money for however long it takes for City to go out, imo. If you backed them for £100 it would mean having £1800 tied up on here. If the bet was to be settled this evening right now I'd furiously be trying to get my entire bank on

Do Stan James actually let people bet there these days? Banned me a long time ago

No they don't, same as the rest of them. I have to take a trip to their shops to get bets on.

Help - I want to go to a coral shop to put a bet on, about how much can I put on a 10/3 without it being phoned through to their traders?
Any advice appreciated... |

pal of mine wanted £40 on a 5/2, they let him have £20 at 5/2 and £20 at 9/4 at corals...if you can believe..

Then when I said na it's ok the fat thing behind the counter asked if I wanted to sign up for a loyalty card

If you're a previous winner and on their shop monitored list they'll phone for permission to lay (ptl) on all your bets. If you're not known you can get away with bets up to a certain liability dependent on what you're betting on.
