City cant win this tie, Barca will dominate possession away  and get a draw, with or without Messi.

City will get thumped at camp nou.

Barca get a good break over xmas also so less games for them to pick up injuries etc

Barca will be full strength , City should be scared , Pellegrini will be bricking it and the owners will be raging with Pelllegrini and the players for not knowing 4-2 sent them against weaker opposition.

Like they say though you have to beat the best to win it

But this is too much for Citeh

Am i the only one who thinks Barca will be more disappointed with this draw than City?

City knew they were getting a decent team. Barca have drawn the strongest runner up when they could've got mugs like Zenit or Olympiacos.

Barca really aren't good at the back, City could take advantage of that. I certainly don't think it'll be a stroll for Barca.

Think Messi is out until new year. As much as I like Barca, it would be nice to see city giving them a run for their money. I like how city have been lately, wonder if there will be many goals?

...personally think aguero could cause havoc against barca defence....

..problem as has been said will be getting the ball to him.

Messi will be back hopefully, thats a game changer for sure

City are more than capable of beating Barca at home. It's the away leg where the trouble will be
Report ilikewavingatbuses December 16, 2013 12:53 PM GMT
if city concede at home the tie is over imo.

Its over for them already imo but who knows, nobody truly knows.

Messi will definately be back. There are saying his likely return will be against Atletico Madrid on the 11th of January.

City will go through
Report artigas December 16, 2013 1:41 PM GMT
the value will be with City. they could certainly dominate a shaky Barca defence at home. Kompany and Aguero will be key. There fitness along will Messi's will have the most influence.
Report gotia December 16, 2013 1:45 PM GMT
as of todays form city would beat barca ......
