good shout, especially with Stevie G influence on Woy

Apparently MOM today. I only watched the first half but Suarez scores 2 and sets the other 3 up.
By:
Doesn't today suggest he may be better without Stevie G and his influence?
5's looks a good price mind. But, I'd far rather have the Everton kid on the aeroplane. |

Has the mackem got a passport ?

Even better is that im on at double figures a couple of injuries and he is a cert surely he goes before cleverly
By:
He runs from the knees according to fergie the top players run from the hips so roy might not have him on his mind?

Forest gump ran from his knees too, but halfway round america.

Been playing well most of the season tbf. Silenced a lot of doubters

What price for the world cup squad now?
By:
King Kenny knew
By:
Delighted to see him shutting a few people up, was never in doubt that he would come good, only morons who don't understand football slagged him off.
By:
This thread is funny. because he has two against Swansea and another one or two decent performances suddenly the money is justified, walofs, no wonder the English national team is a joke around the world.

how fickle fans are. Liverpool fans ringing talk sport saying Henderson not good enough now he is superb
By:
most fans knew he had talent but he was often looking a 'frightened rabbit' and his confidence was very low. this was obviously a concern as to whether his full talent could be nurtured.
this season he has really stepped up and anyone that's watched us consistently would be very harsh saying he's had another one or 2 decent performances, he's had many more than that. it's not always black and white and human nature for fans to perhaps over react on their opinions of players, i don't know many who thought he didn't have the ability thought the price tag did look risky. |
By:
Not sure it's fickle he simply wasn't playing well he never lacked effort but that's the minimum requirement he simply wasn't effecting games
Often looking for the easiest and quickest option to get rid of the ball and that's not good enough he's obviously a confidence based player and now he has that he's beginning to look capable of much more Would do a good job for England even as a second half sub |
By:
had a good season, deserves his seat on the plane imo
By:
You could probably make a case for him actually being in the team never mind the squad. The fact that he will have spent an entire club season playing alongside Gerrard (England captain) and Sturridge can't do him any harm.
By:
How can you say that he was **** last time? He barely played.
By:
And was like 20
By:
If Roy had any sense he would select a number of younger players who will be fresh and have little fear
Games will be stretched second half Henderson sterling Barkley would add legs pace and guile between them |
By:
Yep. Essentially swap Walcott for Sterling.
By:
One of best things about this season has been the form of both Henderson and Ramsey. Not only have they shown how good they are but the character to come back after the dogs abuse and ridicule they took must take some doing. Henderson fully deserves to go to Brazil in my opinion.
By:
probably more likely to go to Brazil than Ross Barkley the way things are going at the moment - I think Ross would benefit from a summer at home to be honest - only injury will stop Henderson from my bet obliging
I'm tempted to go in heavily on Sterling (6/4) and Oxlade-Chamberlain (5/4) as well, as Townsend seems to have gone off the boil at the moment obviously not helped by injury and with Walcott being ruled out - its a shame they don't offer prices on "not to go" 12/11/2013 GBP 30.00 Single: JORDAN HENDERSON @ 7/1 Time: 12:15 Bet Type: Single Stake: £ 30.00 EVENT SELECTION PRICE E/W TERMS RESULT STATUS To Make England World Cup Squad England Specials Specials - Specials Jordan Henderson 7/1 Win only None Unsettled |

king kenny can justify this high $ purchase...............the other two - downing and carrol - no redemption there.
By:
he played for england as a holding midfielder
amazing what these managers come up with, in charge of national team, lol deffo worth another look, but youd be worried about our midfield anyway as we dont seem to have many solid allrounders |
By:
Henderson needs to played in the right way if he's going to have any impact. I'm not sure the slow tempo of international games will suit his style. He's at his best when the team is playing with a high intensity & he's allowed the freedom to not only break up the opposition play, but to support the forwards in attacking positions. Brendan Rodgers is building a side that doesn't pay too much respect to the opposition, & Jordan Henderson is becoming a key player in his vision. I seriously doubt Hodgson will embrace a similar philosophy, & will no doubt stick to tried & trusted methods, using the same old usual suspects & getting the same old usual results.

If I recall Phil Jones joined Man U at the same time as Jordan Henderson joined Liverpool and the discussion at the time was who had made the best deal. At first Man U looked like they had done the best deal but as things stand Henderson looks like a snip as Jones struggles to impress in a below par Man U team

I don't know what the hell you lot have been watching ,,,,,he runs around like a headless chicken .. First touch of a catholic vicar ... Stop being optimistic and be real
England will not get out of the group stages ...... Gerard has never done it for England .. Can't remember him ever having a good game in a big match so what the hell is big behind gonna do .? |

A snip at 16-20 million. They guy has a stirke rate of 1 goal in 10 and is p!sh average. BTW Crystal, i am not a United fan but Phil Jones will turn out to be the superior player. If Henderson is the one to take the lead after Gerard is gone i pity Liverpool |

Couple of posters who haven't seen Liverpool this season evidently there

Seen every Liverpool game and if ye think Henderson is a good player ye obviously need to expand ye're football knowledge outside the EPL.

Shame England can't pick anyone from outside England your point is completely pointless. Would be 11 new players if they could then. Anyway Mike my point stands, Henderson is pure tripe and it will be bore out through his career. PS Just because Zealot made a spelling error it does not mean that he lacks football knowledge. How stupid and trivial of you. |

And i take it you meant OBVIOUSLY, maybe your knowledge of the English language is not up to scratch. |
