The pitch was playing better at the time of abandonment than now.
These conditions would be quite good for English players. It doesn't matter if you can't control the ball - it only travels a few inches away from you in any case!
Looks like they had a monster truck rally on the pitch after the players went home last night

Only takes a second to score a goal. Takes about 10 minutes to get it up the pitch in these conditions though..
0-0 is the bet here at evens, **** conditions , **** pitch and Italians only need a draw.
even real in such conditions would struggle to score here

Aye, same pitch for both teams though.
Should have beaten them at home, then they wouldn't be in this mess.

Tbf Gala have done very well in the conditions. Would have favoured the team only needing a draw.
Juve got it easy last year, with Chelsea blowing a gasket. Not so fortunate this year.

You think they have done well efisio? They hadn't exactly been knocking Buffon's goal down up to that point. The goal is all that matters, of course, but it's been something of an anti-football match.

Agreed Lord, but I think Galatasaray played better giving the state of the pitch. Though it wasn't really football.
Definitely a good result for the teams finishing 1st in their qualifying group!
Can't see Wesley moving in January now, especially to a Club like Manure with a total plastic fan base.
To be honest Efisio, I think they should have been gambling and doing more to make something happen. But I guess they slammed it home when they had the chance, and that's all that matters.
