I would imagine that if you were at Thurles racecourse on the 26th March 1992 and asked for a price on the 10lb claimer who had just won the maiden to ride over 4000 winners and be champion NH jockey at least 16 times in the UK you would have got a pretty fancy price!

If you would said in september 2003 - the last time an american won a Grand slam in Tennis - that in the next 10 years (40 slams) not a single american would win one, I would imagine you would have fairly high odds, dont know about a million but upto and including the 2003 us open, americans won 19 of the previous 40 slams, that's a massive slump. And no american is likely to win one anytime soon in mens tennis.
