Not so sure myself. They certainly took their foot off the gas in the last qualifier v Wales having qualified already and with Vincent Kompany missing I'm happy to sit this one out at the prices.

I'd say its too close to call, as it nearly always is when the top teams play each other. Colombia at 3/1 looks a better bet for me - although personally am waiting to see the line-ups before committing either way (or not at all). You are right Belgium's form last 18 months is good but is generally against teams of lesser quality than the ones Colombia have been playing. Saying that Colombia don't score too many goals, but nor do they concede many either so might be draw is way to go, they are pretty erratic as well in terms of results either at home or away.
Also might be worth noting here that most of the Colombia squad play in Europe, and its likely harder for them to travel back to South America and play qualifiers than it is to stay in Europe and play a friendly. I might have a few bets on correct score 1-0, 0-1, and 1-1 might possibly be 2-1 or 1-2 but think it will be under 2.5 though. There we go think I have covered quite a few options there - probably be 4-0 now!!! |

If you really fancy 'unders' plus a tight
game then 0-0,1-0,0-1 and 1-1 should be your call, effectively leaving out 0-2 and 2-0. |

it could be a tight affair although belgium have some hellish players, ille be dutching 2or 3 goals about 1.80ish.

I thought evens looked good too before doing some slight homework "Falcao has scored nine goals since joining Monaco in a big-money move from Atletico Madrid this summer and he is set to lead the line alongside highly rated Porto frontman Jackson Martinez." I know nothing about Columbia really but that's enough to keep me away even though Belgium have some very good players. 3-1 actually now looking tempting I want to see the Belgium line up anyone know?

No. I just read expected teams - (4-2-3-1): Courtois (GK); Alderweireld, van Buyten, Vertonghen, Pocognoli; Dembele, Witsel; Mirallas, De Bruyne, Hazard; Lukaku
Expected starting line-up (3-4-1-2): Ospina; Yepes, Perea, Medina; Zuniga, Aguilar, Guarin, Armero; Rodriguez; Falcao, Gutierrez I'm going to go on Columbia considering what I've just read price is huge. Plus Kompany is injured and they usually play Vermailen however you spell him so their centre halves are missing. I think Lukaku is carrying a knock and Benteke is just coming back from injury so hopefully this won't backfire. |

Just read that cheers Oldgold they got the predicted line ups wrong! still i'm happy vermailen is playing - no match practice and slow, Falcao should be fine.

GL Anyone playing in this match...... Personally, I have backed Belgium big time.
Couldn't believe the price....... Know it's only a friendly, but remember, they are all playing for a WC squad place. Hoping for an easy Belgium win. |

Good luck. I've backed Columbia pretty blindly just hoping Falcao will run riot and read they have a few other handy players too. We'll soon see I could be majorly wrong as I rate Belgium, I think the price is v good on Columbia though.

LET THAT BE A WARNING TO YOU ALL - NEVER EVER BET ON FRIENDLY MATCHES

Difficult to see how Colombia are double the price of Belgium to win next WC. Both seeded but Colombia playing on home continent in 2014.

Seems to be a general love in for Belgium at the moment.
