Should be an interesting game this one and a hard one to call ffrom a betting perspective. both teams have suspect defenses so goals could be a good option. Liverpool i think may edge this one so i shall have few sheckels on them at 12/5

can see this being as tight and boring as the cardiff v swansea game on sunday...

0-0 for both games

Very unlikely Coutinho starts imo. Rodgers isn't really in the habit of changing a team that has won last time out and especially one that played really well. Most likely he'll be on the bench to replace Henderson or Lucas depending on how the game is going around 65 or 70.

the green bib theory suggests he may start lol

two worries for me and one positive.

the counter attack...we don't do this well (although that was when suarez was banned)
the midfield...gonna need massive defensive games from hendersona nd gerarrd...I think we may struggle to contain them....think too much will get past us and the defence will be penned back and get overworked.

positive no flamini or proper wingers for the wingbacks so that may actually be a benfit especially as Enrique isn't about to slow the flow down.

Very hard to call, can't see arsenal losing, but agree should be goals, overs will be my bet.

Seen enough of Suarez last week to consider a bet on Liverpool for this one... Arsenal 1 Villa 3, Arsenal 1, Dortmund 2....Liverpool can win this for sure.

not a clue what will happen Crazy

5 out of 9 matches at the Emirates have been draws, LFC won once

so prolly lay LFC

Liverpool and goals for me. S & S have so much pace and guile, can see this Arsenal back four getting run ragged by them.

Good luck all.

no bet its too hard to call this one, if anything the overs bet looks the most solid.

When top Premier League sides of perceived
equal ability meet, the side playing at home
overall get the better of things. This match
today is such a match so it would be Arsenal
for those reasons.

I think without Walcott in the team, the likes of Wilshere, Ozil and Santi will play very narrow which should play into Liverpool's 6-man central midfield and defence and also allow Johnson in particular lots of room to get forward.

Bets are on Johnson MOM and any time scorer today.

Arsenal should shorten in that case.

Very tight game for me, a draw is a great result for Liverpool, can't see Rodgers being too gung-ho. Think Arsenal might nick a 1-0.

I'm with you scaredmoney. Liverpool well rested and in good form, Arsenal coming off midweek defeat with a lot of injuries (Wilshere out now as well?) to an already thin squad. Can't see Suarez and Sturridge not scoring against Arsenal's defence so going to back Liverpool, Liverpool - 1, Suarez to score, Suarez two goals or more.

Looks a score draw bet for me (small interest for a 2.2)

..depends how much of the ball Liverpool midfield can get which probably wont be much

.. and when they get it can they get it more times than not to suarez/sturridge...although the form they are in they wont need much to make an impact...

...imagine if Suarez was  leading the Arsenal attack...would be no contest.

Got to be goals in this, goals all over the pitch.

I reckon it could go a bit mental...over 2.5,3.5,4.5,5.5

not really

Liverpool don't let in hardly anything from open play.

Liverpool also haven't clicked ont he counter attack and that how more of the game will pan out.

Liverpool have no beaten Arsenal in the last 11 meetings (might be 12 in fact) and they won't today, just lay LFC for easy money

..if the Chelsea game stays as it is and arsenal win...they will look in a strong position..

..a couple more singings in jan and I think they really could do it.
