Tipping a cagey affair with the game to open up in the 2nd half.

Found out an interesting stat that CSKA have also built a fairly strong defensive record at home this season - conceding just six goals in eight matches.

City surely be happy with a narrow victory or even a draw, considering pitch/weather conditions.

ive always been a bit wary of Russian teams/sporting teams................think a draw would suit both teams to be honest

However, if CSKA win, they will overtake Man City in the standings.............so think they will have a bit of incentive to attack and go for all 3 points

But the only decent team they've been up against in that time are Dynamo Moscow and they promptly lost that match (0 - 2). The trouble with Manchester City is that you never know which team will turn up, but I'd be very, very surprised if they didn't at least get on the scoresheet and take home a point. (Of course the odds suggest that much, but those multi-millionaires don't always like to break a sweat...)

Every cska game I've ever seen has been dire. They seem to play for the 0/0 wherever  Law of averages says goals and as city are the only team capable of scoring  I'm going
£100 city by 2 @5.6
£50 by.  3.  @10.5
£50.  By 4 or more    @18
Might have a ton @5.1 both halves city as well

For what it's worth I expect a turgid game with Man City winning 1-0 with a 63 minute goal.

BBC website have Doumbia in place of Musa starting for CSKA Moscow. Don't know if it will make any difference, but just for the sake of clarity. Musa looks decent on the counter-attack, but I've no idea what kind of player Doumbia is.

I think CSKA are a poor side and City will win gone for City -1 with a straight win cover just in case it is turgid but City should win.  Too much class and starting to gel.  i think both they and Chelski will be putting a run together and will put pressure on Arsenal at the top.

They look anything but secure, though. So long as Manchester City keep the pace up, they should create plenty of openings.

Best chance the Russians have of scoring is a bobble on a back-pass to Hart

he's very capable though and Toure should have scored. When you see players from hot countries playing in gloves, in Russia unders screams loud...
