On a day when their is no top 2 division games, this standout game offers a stonking great investment opportunity. It appears that either no one has done there homework, or is not posting there findings.

Decent Crewe team this afternoon Phillips; Mellor, Tootle, Ellis, Dugldale; Turton, Osman, Grant, Inman, Aneke; Moore.

Reckon we could get a result at Deepdale, although that might be through my scarlet-tinted specs

I have now plaiced my investment and am now in a position to reveal that as Crewe have the worst attack and worst defence in the division, my investment is to lay the correct score of 0-1. This, according to my statistististicacical analysis is superb value. As soon as Preston score, the investment will of payed off.

I don't always get it right, but I think this is better value than buying Royal Mail shares. At least the winnings won't get lost in the post unlike the share certificates might!

Crewe haven't kept a clean sheet in a long time. However, this is our best defence. We set up with a 4-5-1 today, with Aneke and Inman able to get forward. I like the look of this team, and that, along with the fact that we may be inspired by a decent record v Preston, and the fact that Preston are missing a few players, means I think we could nick something today.

A very good analysis Marychain1. With regard to the good record Crewe have against Preston, Ingerland had never beaten Montenegro before last night!

One of us will be happy, I hope you don't mind if I say it had better be me!

We might both be happy. To be honest, anything other than a hiding would be a step forward on recent weeks.

betting at 1/10 type odds is not gambling, just muggery. Didn't take u to be one of those smug sanctimonious types who delight in proclaiming 'gambling is for mugs - I just invest/trade'

To be fair, Crewe haven't kept a clean sheet on the road since Abraham was a boy. Bit early to be writing the cash off.

If I lose on this game it will be only the third loss in 3 months. It happens! To make any monet one has to take a position.  I am not sanctimonious. Betting at 1/10 is ok if one loses every twelfth time! But thanks for the compliment.  I tried trading, but the small amounts gained are easily wiped out when a trade goes wrong, so while trading might be for others, it is not for me. But if you can make it pay, well done!

I am sure that if the score stays the same I will get a lot of flack and abuse. But I have broad shoulders and I can take it! The thing about this is that I checked my stats again and regardless of the outcome, this lay was indicated. If it's wrong, it's wrong! Results like this (if it stays 0-1) show why football is the sport it is, and nothing can be taken for granted!

What price was the lay? Laying shorties isn't my bag, but just because something is short does mean it ain't value, or a good bet.

Layed at 22. I stanmd by the decision win or lose. As I said, would be my third loss in 3 months.
