Value bet of the weekend, why are Everton favourites? because they're having more possession under Martinez? they've drawn 3 and were lucky to beat Chelsea, besides lack of possession has never been a issue for Big Sam and his long ball tactics, not mention Everton haven't won away in the league in 10 matches, west ham dont have Carroll but Everton dont have Fellani,

You may be right but they have got Lukaku to come in this week and have a very good record at West Ham - won something like 4 out of last 5 at Upton Park

"James Collins wasted a glorious chance for West Ham in the closing stages.

That effort was the Hammers' clearest opportunity of the match and summed up their profligacy in front of goal - Sam Allardyce's men have now only managed six shots on target in the league all season and have not scored since the opening day."

different stats site report different stats on the same stat, trust me on this one

i checked via flashscores

but still i think the price is too high, last year he won 5 from 19 away games with wigan.

Everton won 8 out of 10 at Upton Park.

West Ham don't have a striker.

Wouldn't say Everton were lucky to beat Chelsea, had to hang on at time but caused Chelsea problems.

Everton unbeaten and Lukaku should make a world of difference.

Think Everton are rightly favourites - dominated as Norwich and Cardiff and should have won both - West Ham on a par with them sides.

I don't think that stat is too relevant

Laying Everton is a good bet imo..  0-0 is a possibility as our striker problem continues but everton have drawn against cardiff and norwich.. but i think everton is very short at 2.4 and can be layed

If Maiga plays then I doubt Distin and Jagielka will have an easier afternoon all season. I'd just throw Petric straight in regardless of his fitness level.

Everton certainly have the Indian sign over us at the Boleyn. It's a game we are more than capable of winning but I'd say a draw is best we can hope for. Martinez also seems to know how to shut out Diame.

Lukaku is a BIG worry. Think Ginge and Winston deal with Jelavic no problem is Martinez goes with him.

0-0 or 1-0 either way. Another tedious game lies in store. I can hardly wait.

Why are Everton favourites at West Ham? It's because they are the better team and have a great record against the Hammers at the Boleyn.

Talking to a season ticket holder today he can't see West Ham scoring again let alone against a strong Everton side.
Odds seem dead right to me, not that I'm having a bet on the match.

me neither but can't see anything to suggest we can win

Everton draw no bet looks like a very low risk punt for anyone looking for that

West Ham ONE shot on target according to BBC.

Both sides poor first half, but Everton deserved winners in the end - 60% possession and could have had 4 or 5.

West Ham fans bitching about statistics all throughout this thread should concentrate on bitching about their owwn sh!tful team instead IMO

what made west ham appoint big sam in the first place, hammers traditionally like to get the ball down and play football.
could not have found a more unsuitable manager imo and I think they will go down this season.

On them ave. 14 to go down but fear that there are a few even worse in the division.

Fat Sam will scrape enough home wins to keep em up I fear

14/1 a very good price on us going down. Give you a good run for your money,

Agree we may scrape survival more due to the ****ness of teams in and around us rather than our abilility to pick up points.
