I've given up trying to judge the swings on football markets. Backed unders on the Southampton/West Ham match where everything pointed to a low scoring game and was amazed when it drifted.

very strange SP considering positions in table. Half put me off so put my troth on Fenerbache ( no spitting in Kebab shop please, why do they all support Galatasaray? ).
Felt pretty lucky come back from behind twice and a Man U injury time winner! Happy but still 2.16 SP discombobulating! |

I know there were a load of injuries for both sides in this game, but can anyone work out the reason for the odd price movements? Was it a public bet or speculation that something would happen?

FCN tipped in two national newspapers here. FCN have just bought back their star striker from their Championship winning season after a spell in Holland. It is generally perceived that both clubs are in 'false' positions. FCM have a relatively small squad so injuries will hit them hard. FCN won league two seasons ago and silver medal last.
Lesson here is don't get too heavily involved in a league you know little about - but of course FCM won so this time it paid off. WD |
