Two English clubs have lodged bids this evening for the German International after Real Madrid completed the signing of Gareth Bale for 100 Million Euros. The Spanish outfit has to sale to balance the books in the next 12 months after shelling out 150 Million on talent already this summer and despite the German publically stressing his desire to stay and fight for his place, it seems he has been told he can speak to any possible suitors, providing the price is right?

So who are the two clubs, Man United, Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Surely cant be Chelsea or Spurs, they are overloaded with midfielders.

Arsenal are in advanced talks to sign 24-year-old Real Madrid and Germany midfielder Mesut Ozil, BBC Sport have learned

The Gunners are also working on other deals, including a move for Palermo goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano, 27.

You feel Gareth Bale's transfer to Real means tomorrow is going to be a very busy transfer deadline day

I thought one team was going to be Arsenal, got a sneaky feeling the other is Man United, I would have thought he would be more needed at Old Trafford then Arsenal, given the type of player, but he is quality and would fit either side I suppose as he is that good

One piece online by a respected french journo says that manU is the other club. It seems manU offered £100k a week and Arsenal offered £140k. Take nothing for granted after that Willian thing is my advice! Wink

Levy should have insisted that Real do not sell to Arsenal as part of the Bale deal. How the phuck are Spurs going to finish fourth without Bale when Arsenal have Ozil?

sefans be worried that Ozil is in Germany having a indpendant medical, rather then one at the club, surely this is because their is more then one acceptted bid and once the medical is passed, the player then gets to decide what plane he is to get on to sign the contract? madrid need him sold so would leave it open for all to try and sign him

Madrid fans have voiced their anger at the reports that Ozil is to be sold. Could Madrid pull the plug and let someone else go at the 12th Hour, you know the madrid fans rule the roost
