I can't wait- its been way too long since we had a right old go at subjugating the Jocks yet again. All this talk of independence popping up again after the 1745 rebellion was crushed. I call on every b lue blooded Englishmen to sing the adopted verse for this game:

Lord Goldsmith, the former attorney general who led Gordon Brown’s review of British citizenship, had suggested that a verse calling for “rebellious Scots” to be crushed ought to be rewritten.His remarks provoked speculation that the little-known stanza in God Save the Queen, written during the Jacobite uprising of 1745, was likely to be altered or officially disowned.However, Labour has now confirmed there is no prospect of the National Anthem being changed, insisting it was a source of pride for people across the UK.
All of this with tongue firmly in cheek

I don't know about other fans frustration, but I'm betting Prince George is spitting the dummy at this.
I'll be amazed if Scotland manage to hold on to the draw,

Hoping that the Scots will spit the dummy, one more yellow would be a profit but a Red would be the jackpot..

Hs looked very bitty everytime I've seen him for Palace. Sad inditement on English football that he's supposedly done enough to earn a call up.

It was a decent game played out by 2 ordinary teams. That England team is going nowhere fast. The Scots have shown improvement under Strachan. Regarding England their ticket to Brazil will be through the play-offs

the history of Scotland v England has always been pretty even,beating the jocks by one goal is nothing to be ashamed of.

At the end of the day, both countries are USELESS at football, in England, its due, to too many foreigners playing in the Premier League and in Scotland, its due to the fact that they are USELESS.
they are both about blue square premere mid table level,with a few tweaks they could probably make the play offs...
