A Manager with over a decade of experience in the Premier League who has never won a trophy.

A fanbase of whom 90% of English fans are from outside of the Greater Manchester area, fickle fans looking for a quick fix.  These guys have no idea what it is like to support a team that don't win, and will soon move onto the next club to give their 'devoted and passionate' support.

The Glazer's financed the purchase of the club through loans secured against the clubs assets.  Once the demise takes full flow, Champions League football is gone and the majority of fans have moved on the club will not make enough to pay the substantial interest payments each year and will eventually end up in the same position as Rangers.

I can't wait.

Are you sure about that last post rommel.

Rooney has been supported by SAF non stop up until he started sulking last season.

Just look at his appearances, goals, assists and the trophies we have won since Rooney first f ucked up.

Nah its all since he started sulking last season.

Don't forget he started the season at Everton overweight and sweating his nuts off after half an hour. He was kanckered and virtually on his knees. If I remember rightly he played one more game against Fulham and was then sent to fat club in America.

believe me mate, the only reason Wayne Rooney isn't one of the best players in the world is because of him and nobody else.

It is him who asked to leave United because he was getting subbed. It was him who was fat and overweight. It was him who stopped chasing back and started showing little urgency. It was him who said he would play for somebody else if he couldn't play up front every week for United. It is him and his agent who have been angling for a move.

Most united fans like me don't care how good a player is or could be. If he wants to leave then off you go son. He will get sh1t from United fans this season if he stays and doesn't put a hard shift in. I will never cheer him again but will be pleased to see him regain his form for the good of the team

However he wants to go but doesn't want to be forced to put a written transfer in as he loses millions by doing that.
Report rommel August 5, 2013 10:36 PM BST

Report peter the butcher August 5, 2013 10:44 PM BST
I understand that mate but even though we followed SAF through thick and thin I would like to think we can also see what is going on. 99% of proper United fans would support SAF on this issue.

And just to even it up most of us thought SAF was wrong when he got rid of Jaap Stam.

Well Liverpool always do well at home to United. Even when we have won there recently we probably didn't deserve it.

I reckon Betfair will have it at something like 2.7 ish for both Liverpool and United and the draw obviously lower. Depends on how the teams have got on in the matches leading up to that and any injuries etc.

When a dictator leaves ,chaos ensues and that is what will happen here, referees and The FA,other managers will not be blackmailed by Moyes as they were by Fergie that grip has gone ,the dressing room is clearly didvided and Rooney wants out and players are not exactly queueing up to sign for Moyes and it is all being played out in public.  I can see the yellow and green scarves back some time soon .

There was never as much there with Rooney as people think. he did things in Euro 2004 and for Everton that he has never done for United. A top attacking footballer who plays between the lines should be able to dribble and carry the ball at pace. Rooney doesn't do this, never draws a man or takes him on. He used to do it a lot at 18, I don't know what happened, physical decline due to bad genetics/lifestyle I'd guess.

I have seen Man U play twice now. AIK and Wigan.
I can't say as I have noticed any difference in the style of play under Moyes.
They still attack efficiently down both wings, where most teams have their least efficient defenders and they still possess a significant goal threat.
I believe it will be a minor miracle if they don't make the top 4.
Seen City play against Milan and tho they did look impressive going 5-0 up, I'm far from convinced with their work ethic.
And moronho has a big job turning Chelsea from last seasons free flowing football to his own more prosaic standard of over glorified long ball tactics.
I wouldn't put MUFC up as a tip for the title but 5/2 outsider of 3 in a 3 horse race, well that's starting to look a bit like value.
