i saw a tennis match on here last year where the live vid was a full game behind the scoreboard. it was on serve so the price wasn't moving too much but people were lumping on 10k bets all over the shop.
you would have to place a keep bet on the current score to get that 990, the bet was cancelled very quickly but someone got matched cos their bet was already up once the market unsuspended |

video caught up after about 3 games

It was a late game last year where some bot was trading the wrong score during all the game.
I think it was Darlo Bantam who first noticed it, it was really free money for everyone. |

on the soccer teo?

By:
i remember that if it was 1-0 or whatever you could lay DRAW/DRAW lol
|

There was a game last year involving Canada and they were 3-0 up but the scoreboard on the game was only showing 2-0.
Some people didn't have a clue what was going on, but those who did just kept on laying 2-0 as the game went into the last 10 mins. Some were obviously backing it thinking the price was amazing and those who knew it was 3-0 just kept laying anything that was put up. |

Not a score error but a rick by Pady Powr in a World Cup game years ago.
Ten minutes from the end of a group game, with the teams drawing, a draw would see both teams through to the last 16. I backed the draw, then the teams copped on, and started passing practice in midfield. Betting was suspended (too late). |

There was a game involving Ural in the Russian FNL last season where the referee disallowed a goal after 5 mins. Absolute carnage! There's a thread on here about it somewhere.

Still cant believe they cancelled the bets. Thats when betfair changed to having money in your account and being limiting your exposure based on balance iirc

There was a premier league game is 2009-10 this happened. Live on Sky and I think it involved Man City. One team scored to make it 1-0 but the correct score market showed it as 0-1. It stayed like that for a good few minutes and after a few moments of shock I quickly dived in laying the 0-1, 0-2, 0-3, etc. I was looking at around £1400 profit and was convinced they'd void the market after they suspended it a few minutes later. They never did. A great day.

I placed bets... when the display banner... is showing the incorrect score lol

they didn't cancel the bets on the MSE thing. what they did was not go after the negative balances some of the mummy shaving experts racked up, because supposedly you can't bet with money you don't have.
but people who bet with money they actually did have lost it, I believe. people had told BF repeatedly that that loophole was there, but they didn't do anything till it was actually exploited. technically, till they changed how liabilities were calculated in that and similar markets you could run up limitless liabilities regardless of the size of your bank. I'm still suspicious of that whole episode: I think it's very possible the people who pointed out this overbroke market "opportunity" knew exactly what they were doing and were on the other side of some of the trades. |
