I make this the best bet of the weekend in Argentina.
Five points separates Godoy Cruz from Newell's at the top of the league. They have no chance of winning the league with only three games to go (and also of getting a place in Copa Sudamericana where they are 6 points behind San Lorenzo) but they need to fight for every possible point in these last 3 rounds because they will start next season as one of the worst averages in the relegations table thanks to a very poor 2012.
Martin Palermo will repeat the same starting line-up that had a very good performance in the 3-0 win vs Arsenal.
Thirty points for Tigre in the season, only better than the already relegated Union what will force them to have a very good 2013/2014 to avoid having problems in the Averages table.
Despite a successful and historic season in international competitions mood in the club is not good with coach Nestor Gorosito and most fans want him out after some controversial things he said to the press this week about the club's future and also because of the league's results where they've lost 8 of the last 11 games.
Three changes for this game including defender Alejandro Donatti replacing Norberto Papparato who is injured, and attacking midfielder Gabriel Peñalba that returns from a suspension for Diego Castaño who has flu symptoms and won't travel to Mendoza.
Three consecutive home wins for Godoy Cruz scoring three goals in each of them and they will play against this unfocused Tigre that has lost 8 of the last 11 league games and has the worst defense this year with 27 goals conceded. Tigre already look as if they have gone on their holidays and the last thing they would have wanted was a 1,000km trip to Mendoza.
It looks like the perfect opportunity for the in-form Godoy Cruz to continue their fine recent form and put the tired-Tigre to the sword. I genuinely believe Godoy Cruz are still a very very good price (I got evens on first show).

I'd had a look at this game and come to the conclusion goals would be involved, overs for me. great writeup Clay (no mention of best league in the world)
Clay would you advise looking at the goal markets or is it ether just getting on Godoy?
THis game points to goals as both teams are quite 'overish' for Argue standards. I'm on Godoy big time. But I wouldn't put anyone off backing goals

It's pretty end to end but Godoy have definitely had the better of it.
HT/FT is out the window so going to get on Godoy, still only need 2 goals to cover the overs bets so worry about that later
