The lad will not make it in at the top level in Europe, will be playing for some Russian club in a few years after he flops at Barca after a season. The lad is awful.

he's brainless, I would love to see Chelsea pay over the odds for him
Report Biscuit1979 June 2, 2013 8:40 PM BST
Be interesting to see how he gets on at Barca because he's spent his whole career so far being the main man with all play revolving around him.
Report Glossy June 2, 2013 8:44 PM BST

Report skygreenzone June 2, 2013 8:45 PM BST
Yeah he's terrible come on if he was english you would be saying he's gonna be the next best thing. He is only wot 21?
Report Glossy June 2, 2013 8:47 PM BST
Biggest hype player since Denilson.
Report skygreenzone June 2, 2013 8:49 PM BST
Good player and probably hyped but were living in messi and ronaldo era.Won't be that good but it will be interesting now he's at barca
Report Biscuit1979 June 2, 2013 8:50 PM BST
He's certainly not terrible but he's definitely greedy. Not many players have been regulars for Brazil by the age of 20
Report skygreenzone June 2, 2013 9:07 PM BST
Most of brazil forward players are greedy it was the same at wembley will probably cost them the world cup
Report thelatarps June 2, 2013 9:17 PM BST
nowhere near the class of ron or leo is he?
and lord knows even they struggle at times at international level.
You would think with all the brazils in europe they could find a better forward pair than fred and neymar

Some folk on here really dont have a clue.

Neymar is phenomenal.
Report TheChaser June 22, 2013 9:35 PM BST
Think Biscuits hit nail on head , he is used to be being able to get the ball when he wants and walking through carp defenders also
Report TheChaser June 22, 2013 9:37 PM BST
by nail on head i mean hues used to main man and greedy , lets see if he can handle being way way way way behind messi
Report AyersRock June 22, 2013 9:38 PM BST
if you given someone oxygen they'll keep breathing
Report JamDav1982 June 22, 2013 9:39 PM BST
Barcelona need a winger that will take people on again.

He is not all that greedy and usually will pass if someone is better positioned.
Report Try My Best June 22, 2013 9:39 PM BST
He's just done one of the best goalkeepers in the world in the wrong top corner.Behave yourself and when he starts playing with better players at Barca just watch out.The lad is a great talent full stop.
Report One footed pony June 23, 2013 12:20 PM BST
He's as good as Nani at times. But Michael Owen on a bad day, usually.

zaha is the future of world football.
Report lurka June 23, 2013 12:35 PM BST
he'll have to change his game quite a bit to fit in but he's well capable of linking up with messi et al and terrorising defences. he will have to let the ball do the work more often and stop giving away possession cheaply
Report Alias June 23, 2013 1:01 PM BST
No mention of the fact that he's a ****? Rolling around the other night, holding his face, when he'd been struck on the arm. Despicable little turd.

u probably think Ronaldo is crap as well dimwit
Report kincsem June 23, 2013 2:08 PM BST
The Italians got a good look at him.  If they meet again in the World Cup I expect the play will be tighter.
Report mikenichols June 23, 2013 2:51 PM BST
To say Neymar is "crap" is such a typically gratuitous, over-the-top football fan comment it barely deserves a response.

If he's so over-rated I wonder what Barcelona see in him - a chance to waste a lot of their money, perhaps?!

At just 20, consistently scoring and creating goals for his country, influencing the outcome of games with moments of brilliance, he's not doing too bad at all.

And with a fair amount of physical development to come, he can only get stronger.

Yes, at times his play-acting is appaling, he needs to cut that out asap, and he's probably been over-hyped, like many are in these days of media over-kill, nevertheless any club or country would surely

be more than glad to have such a player coming through.

Correct. Bags of talent, but in earnest need of a hefty slap or two.
