It was all about paying the money for the release clause for him, Monaco has paid it he is going there but i will be surprised if he is there more than a season.

His wife and daughter are settled in Madrid and will not be moving to Monaco but staying in Madrid while he spends the next year playing in Monaco.

Next season he will be a Real Madrid player Nap

and to think that the tax rate in france is 75% for earners over 1m, monaco think they are exempt but they are not.

At the moment they are going to pay an entry fee into the french league.

I still dont know how these clubs with rich owners are gong to meet the waffa rules re finance.

They do it through sponsorship and other things, thats why Beckam donated all his wages to charity when at PSG. he was making 10xs more through sponsorship/branding etc
