Seems very odd odds then too. Gaz Metan - albeit two men down - were 1.07 when 1-0 up. Equaliser and immediately goes 1.01. The draw is seldom shorter than either team, never mind that shorter.
By:
Petrolul scored the equaliser after 90+14, not every day you see that...
By:
90+14 and yet the shortest Gaz Metan went was 1.07. Sounds very dodgy.

This game started before Young Boys v Badel but well after that game had finished and many, many minutes into IT, the odds for under 1.5 goals were still available to back at 1.44.
Dodgy game. |

Gaz Metan went down to 7 men when they conceded that 104th minute penalty. If they had one more red card the game would have been abandoned
By:
definitely dodgy. the ref kept sending players off, adding additional minutes, awards the pen then blows for full time immediately
By:
Going back to my earlier question, I thought that the referee had no choice but to abandon the game if a team went down to seven men?
By:
Six.

Cheers Darlo.
By:
I knew you can't play with 3 reds any chance of voided bets? I lost big time
By:
I have layed the draw @ 1.01 in case any decision will change the result but no chances.
By:
The match ends with 4 red cars for one team, not 3. 6 player + goalie is minimum
By:
I thought it was 6 players total myself, i believe darlo is right. Happened a few years back with Sheff Utd.
By:
5 red of course
By:
6 players + goalman is minimum
By:
You can definitely play on with seven players on the pitch. The Sheffield United match sometimes confuses people because Sheffield United also had a man go off for injury.
By:
There were 4 reds for away side
but the game not ended |
By:
I remember them having 6 on the field (sheff utd) that is. 3 red and 2 injuries after all their subs were used.
By:
You're right, it was two injuries not one.
I once played a match when the opposition only started with seven. I think we still lost! Though it was the other team's worst result of the season. |
By:
This game might as well just have come with a tagline "This was fixed". Because that is about as blatantly obvious as it gets. 6 reds ffs, a 104th min pen. 1 team was 1-0 up vs 9 men, and they then ended with 7 men themselves. Wonder who come up with this script

A draw guaranteed Petrolul third place and Europa League football.

"Was placement criteria H2H, GD or most wins"
Goal difference. Doesn't matter though, they still only needed a point. How many minutes went up on the board at the end of the 90 minutes? |
By:
Most wins would have seen Petrolul out if Astra had won. H2H and GD would have seen Pandurii miss out I believe.
Didn't see the game but the amount of stoppage time doesn't seem ridiculous when you look at what happened. http://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/soccer-dirty-tackle/dtotd-romanian-goalkeeper-bites-opponent-arm-match-saw-234707285.html |
By:
Astra played Pandurii though so if Astra had won, then Pandurii would've got 1 point less and missed out on GD.
So whatever happened Petrolul were guaranteed 3rd place with a draw. |

Panduri-Astra game had already ended as a draw so Petrolul needed nothing from this game.

By:
Yes. But before the match Petrolul knew a point guaranteed them third place. So any fix would have been arranged before anyway.
By:
Watching that video, they only lost five minutes before play restarted. Still doesn't explain the other nine minutes of injury time and why the referee showed three reds in injury time.
