Wimbeldon were about the same price, think 1/3, 8/1 were the 90 min odds (with more miserly overrounds in those days)
Spurs v Coventry i don't recall the prices but i'd guess around 4/6 & 7/2

Liverpool were 1st Wimbledon finished 7th ...but a massive points difference between the 2 sides
I guess 1979- 80 must be a bigger shock than any of them ,and of course 75-76
yeah Spurs were 3rd Cov were 10th then in 1988 Liverpool were 1st Wimbledon finished 7th ...but a massive points difference between the 2 sides I guess 1979- 80 must be a bigger shock than any of them ,and of course 75-76
there wasn't the obscene amounts available at top level then ,so many star players played at second level and with 'their club'
Forest won the 1st div (prem) title with 10 players that starred in the 2nd division the previous season
that couldnt happen now

Coventry wasn't a big upset at all. Spurs were odds against over 90 mins. Coventry had a fine season in the league too, and Keith Houchen scored some priceless goals on the cup run - 5 and their leading scorer i think. You can't count that as a major shock.

I'm a mag supporter but the biggest shock of all was surely Sunderland in 1973 - by the way the Robledo brothers played for NUFC in the 1950's - they were from South America - Chile as I can remember from my history books
