Banned from buying players (not signing) until £8 million is paid to ex players such as David Kitson and Ben Hiem. The two remaining parachute payments are needed to pay back loans that were taken out to conclude the purchase of the club and ground. Could be a long time before able to buy players.

Plenty of decent released players about. Why pay the £8m.

I was at the Pompey v Sheff Utd last home game and what a reception Kitson got :-) The fans are brill and its a shame these 2 players can't let the whole case drop and let the club move on.

Not many league 2 clubs actually pay fees for players anyway so i'm sure they'll get by. Think they signed 4 or 5 players last week.
