I am unsure about Martinez his record isnt that good, a bit overhyped .Not sure he is tough enough.

Michael Laudrup has done better, and would be a preferred choice , but i think he will go to Spain/Italy to manage soon.

Benitez = no , Lennon 100% no , Hughes = no

Vitor pereira - Porto boss , an interesting one , if he shows a desire for the job would be my choice. but would someone like that come with no real funds to spend?

Everton cant afford a manager whose already employed, and they wont go for a continental manager imo

If I was having a wager I would go for either Martin Oniel, Alex mcliesh or roberto di mateo

The first two a definite no I would take a punt with RDM tho. The Porto guy interests me as does Poyet or Bilic

As long as he doesn't have 3 envelopes in one hand and a giant portrait of himself in the other, I'm quite open-minded

if they get bill gates they will have to keep switching the team off and back on again every time it stalls.

We need to look down to the championship just as we did last time and look for a tough up and coming manager thats done really well with a smaller club, who is around the same age give or take as Moyes when he arrived, so then for me its a no brainer go with GUS POYET, plays the right way, wont take any messing about and is respected in football and is ambitious, we dont want failures or hype managers and it needs doing quick with at least six of our already small squad leaving at the end of the season, if we are not careful here next season Liverpool may finish above us

By the way as for no cash to spend its ironic that moyes goes now, as with 15m extra tv money per year minimum and with the sales of fellaini and heitinga bringing in 30m whoever takes over will actually have a fair pot to go at things with, its not going to be a bad thing in my opinion and whoever gets the job is getting a very good one and with at least six players to come in just to cover the ones leaving then its going to be fun in the summer, just think we may actually have sky cameras at goodison on deadline day for a change

seemingly poyet was approached by sunderland and turned them down as he had something in the pipeline

dont know how true it is , but , its starting to make sense .......

And Everton have known for a while Moyes is off, despite what is being said. Just not that Moyes would be joining Utd so soon.

MOTD2 need to find a replacement for next season now as well Plain

Mauricio Pochettino + Poyet

both doing well , young and ambitious and I would like to see either considered above many of the names being mentioned. Ponchinetto  may not want to leave Southampton so soon though.

I was in Kerala a few months back - it's not all it's cracked up to be.

Nevertheless if McLeish gets the job it will seem like paradise. When do we fly?

I sincerely hope you dont let Hughes get his foot in the door Im sure his agent will have been on the phone already but do not let this fella ruin your club because as sure as eggs are eggs  he will bring you down..............

Fergie's number 2 might be a good choice Mike Phelan. No future at Man Utd, Moyes will want his own men.

at least laudrup or rafa could attract some decent foreign players to the club, assuming they are given the extra TV money and fellaini transfer money to spend.

a lot of the names being mentioned couldn't attract a moth to a flame.

Think one of the earlier shouts is right on this - I think Everton will go for someone who isn't currently under contract - cannot see the parsimonious Kenright coughing up any compo to get someone in.

Kenwright mentioning making  an appointment to keep the fans happy, could be an ex player possibly

I still think someone out of contract, and experienced, STEVE MCLAREN would be an option, got all the experience won something managed national side, did well in euro competition and out of work
