Just do the maths and work out which gives you the most profit for your liability.  Little difference normally.

My opinion is that playing either back or lay markets depends on the method each one is using to gain the profit he wants.

back is definitely better than lay in markets with more than 3 outcomes.

by laying youre effectively backing a whole load of things that arent going to win.

for instance premier league outright. if you lay man utd or man city, youre backing 18 other teams who have next to no chance of winning it.

the answer is the price (as usual!)

in a 3 runner field, home, draw, away you have 3 probabilities so using one of tomorrows matches I will give an example as Im in that sort of mood Laugh

IA Akranes current price 2.36 to back 2.42 to lay
Thor 3.1 to back 3.2 to lay
Draw 3.75 to back 3.8 to lay

Back prices :
2.36 represents probability of 42.37%
3.1 represents probability of 32.26%
3.75 represents probabililty of 26.67%

Total probability = 101.3
Lay prices :
2.42 to lay = 41.32%
3.2 = 31.25%
3.8 = 26.32%

Total probability = 98.89

Now depending how you price it up depends where your back or lays are but lets say I give it home 39% Draw 2% Away 59% that would represent a back of IA Akranes at 2.56 or above, back of draw at 50.0 back of Thor at 1.7 or above. So the only one there that fits the criteria is a back of Thor. On the lay side a lay of IA Akranes and lay of draw both meet criteria however the massive difference between the draw odds and the probability makes the draw at 3.75 the lay, so a back of Thor and lay the draw would be my play if my probabilities were real (these probabilities I actually took from another site!)

Hallo everyone.

My name is Chris and i would like to show my results of betting through a system that i developed.
The system is based on 24 filters of a certen game and of algorithmic calculation made through those filters.
The system hase been runing since 2000 in a simulation form for about 13 years until now,and the results are very good.
An example of 92.25%per year of winning rate in 8 years is my best performance so far.
84.96% is the next categorie of picks and its wining rate.
My most common performance is at 77.22%

*The percentage is for a period of 1 Year and has tested on a simulation mode and in real time for 13 Years since 2000.

Thank you for your time i just wanted to share my thoughts with you all.Grin|
