once one of the big clubs meet his buy out clause, he will be gone.
i can not see him hanging around waiting for the ban to finish.
i believe Liverpool bought him in the same situation, when he had his Dutch ban.

He'll be off this summer, Liverpool are going nowhere, and he's nowt but trouble for them. I see an easy way out for both sides. Too good not be playing CL football and Liverpool have no chance of the top 4 next year either.
