I feel sorry for you. But I really don't know why people bet on these Mickey Mouse leagues. Too many knowns, too many risks.
|
|
By:
they reserve the right to suspend if a picture cant be obtained or is lost, its risky at best playing in those leagues
|
|
By:
i was betting on them because i have watched the game on my tv, i am from the country where the game was runnin'. Funny though, they closed the game right on time...

Quote didn't work. It's hardly a mickey mouse league and holds more value betting wise than fighting over the 0.05% of value in the Premiership.
The more obscure you get the better your chances of beating the prices. |

and the less liquidity to make it worthwhile. |

If you are taking a decent value bet you only need to worry if you want to get out.

Steaua is hardly obscure in any case.

Each to his own. But when you want to get 20K on, and have the chance to lay off quickly, do these league give still look appealing?
|
|
By:
Of course not. But then if you are lumping 20k on and looking to get out you aren't looking for value.
|
|
By:
How utterly wrong. But hey ho.

liquidity shouldn't effect the poor management of any game that is advertised in play and they clearly have feeds for though, should it?

The only exception is if you are playing 1.0x prices.

I'm suggesting that if you want to get 20k out at a bad price you can get out of any market as long as there is a market maker.

A short-term bad price is sometimes a long-term good price.

Many is the time on the more obscure games that the suspend being stuck on co-incides with either a goal or some event like a bit of a bust up.
Occams razor is that it's that the operator has stuck suspend "on" and forgot about it, and despite this happening year in year out they just cannot be bothered putting simple systems in place to prevent this operator error screwing their customers over. E.g. like when suspend goes on, every 45 seconds thereafter an alarm goes off and the operator has to confirm it should still be suspended. Take a competent student programmer a couple hours to knock up. And if suspend is left on for more than say .. 3 minutes, the operator has to justify it to the management, (with video feed automatically recorded), and if they've just been clueless .. PUBLIC EXCECUTION! (or pay docked if you're a wishy washy wimp :P) |

You're getting away from the point guys, the OP mentioned Batfairs inability to maintain a live feed to a game and not where to place our shillings

I'm not sure where to go if you think backing a bad price is good value.
