madvlad, why has it affected me. Newcastle did not deserve to win today. its just funny at the fuss Sunderland fans. it is, always has been and always will be a smaller club.

Pardew is perfectly summed up in this photo of when he thought Newc had equalised...
...rather than celebrate to his own fans or players, he turns straight to Di Canio as if to say "f**** you".
You'd have thought he'd have learnt his lesson after last season when he prematurely celebrated the penalty (which was missed) and then got so rattled he tried to attack an OAP.
A truly odius individual, he's certainly at the right club.

when one Sunderland fan shouts a racist comment at Mrs Bent, or when one Sunderland fan pushes Harper over, all Sunderland fans are scum
when hundreds of Newcastle fans riot and smash up their city centre, it's just lowlife who aren't really fans
#canyougetanymorehypocritical?

having the pubs open showing the game cant help, there are always them that fancy a bit of bother after a couple of beers, hope he gets banned from town centre on match days

Is this 'hatred' between Newcastle and Sunderland purely a football thing or does the rivalry exist all the time?
ie. if a group of lads from Sunderland decided to have a night out in Newcastle, would they be started on purely because of where they were from.

I agree - yesterdays post-match scenes certainly showed just how little Newcastle care about little ol' Sunderland
Just wait til you get beat by your real rivals Man U

I'm particularly amused by the TOTAL LACK OF BANTER PICTURES being posted by the Newcastle boys on here since yesterday
It's not as if they haven't got any in their photo galleries

It is tragic that when the working men of Sunderland actually lived lives verging on subsistence slaving away either in the mines or shipyards the bare spending power for the breadwinner to secure any pleasure in life was invariably a few ****, perhaps a couple of pints a week and the match. No money was there for for away games, no cars and everyone walked. However as the North East loved and appreciated football it would more often than not be a game at Roker Park one week and then at St James' the next.
This current state if affairs is the result of intellectually brain dead Neanderthals whose only opportunity in life to succeed is through mindless violence. We should be able to sit together as rival rugby supporters do and exchange a bit of banter, enjoying and appreciating the quality of football displayed by both sides. Looking at the press pictures not for the first time what we see are mindless feral children, failed by our education system and adults of an age and demeanour who do not even deserve to ever be allowed into a football club again or possibly more appropriately out of a permanent jail cell.
These people are a pustule on the skin of society.
