Oneil should not have been sacked, the team is rubbish, the players they have dont warrant a higher league position so they people who run the club should expect to be in the relegation battle with the quality of player they have,martinez is never under pressure to finish top 10 so why is sunderland different?

I could never understand why they bought so many old players whose careers were on the way down.

Most people who have seen Sunderland on a regular basis would agree with the decision to sack Martin O'Neill.
