Report Percysugden April 1, 2013 11:49 PM BST
try changing the figure you want to withdraw, just slightly, I had this problem once.
Report AyersRock April 1, 2013 11:57 PM BST
you have to withdraw the amount you deposited first - and then the extra winnings

so withdraw 30

them withdraw the remaining 50

so withdrawing twice
Report door April 1, 2013 11:57 PM BST
will try
Report Percysugden April 1, 2013 11:57 PM BST
Or take the 30 out, then take it out again. I had to take out a pound less than what I wanted once, don't know why it does that though.

weird - it's never done that to me.

After reading, reading and reading again the terms and conditions on withdrawing I still don't understand it. I had to have Betfair Helpdesk sort it out for me.

In the end I had to deposit the minimum amount and then withdraw the amount I wanted. Still unsure why I had to do that?
Report door April 2, 2013 12:17 AM BST
did you withdraw more than you had deposited
Report CJ70 April 2, 2013 12:25 AM BST
Yes. I'm not sure if Helpdesk changed anything in my account to enable me to beforehand.

You can only withdraw funds which are not committed to outstanding bets.

You can only withdraw funds to a card which has already made a successful deposit, and is not due to expire within next 2 days.

You must withdraw to each card at least the total amount deposited from that card before you are able to withdraw your 'additional' winnings.

Your additional winnings (over and above the total amount you have deposited) can be withdrawn back to a Debit Card (if applicable) or by Electronic Bank Transfer or Cheque.

Please note you cannot withdraw more to a UK MasterCard credit or debit card than you deposited with that card. Also, you cannot withdraw anything to international credit or debit MasterCards. These rules are imposed by MasterCard.
Report door April 2, 2013 12:45 AM BST
so if you are in credit on a master card how do you claim the outstanding money
Report gotitwrong- April 2, 2013 12:47 AM BST
AyersRock , that is not my experience.

I have only ever used one debit card , I have withdrawn more to that card than I deposited
Report AyersRock April 2, 2013 12:55 AM BST
you've been here 12 years your card must have expired a few timesConfused

but that's what I'm saying, they are telling to first withdraw the total amount you have deposited to the card, and then witdraw the winnings

so if your 'total deposits' says £30  - you withdraw that £30 first, and then take out your winnings, its happened to me, you have to withdraw twice at first, strange i know

I have had lots of versions of the same card , as you say.

I dont ever recall your problem happening ,but I had the problem of an old pc , that wouldn't let me view the whole of the withdrawal form screen.

Thats when I  found out the helpdesk were very helpful.

AIB Changed cards last week from Laser/maestro to visa/debit and I can't withdraw until I verify who I am again
Report Geesyerdosh April 2, 2013 1:17 AM BST
Last week I had a new card same thing happened. Had to phone up the helpdesk and get the expired one removed.
Report marychain1 April 2, 2013 1:37 AM BST
CARD A
Deposit £50

CARD B
Deposit £100

Say you then win £300 and you want to withdraw it.

You cannot just withdraw £300 onto either card, because you cant withdraw more than you have deposited onto a card IF you have another card that has more deposits than withdrawals.

So, you do this

CARD A
Withdraw £50

CARD B
Withdraw £100

Then, you can withdraw the remaining £150 onto either card (or bank transfer, cheque or whatever).

@ door - Out of date or expired card: This happened to me, I emailed Betfair and they immediately took the expired card off my account, simples.

You are better off with just one card because when you reach the point were you are entirely in profit and have paid back all deposits, you can put all profit back to that one card. GL
Report jermaine defonebox April 3, 2013 9:23 AM BST
No other place makes you have to grovel to get any winnings.  Sickening and dont bother emailing they won't answer and when you ring expect to be treated like a money launderer and the more times you call to do it gets worse. And they deduct 1.75% even when debit card don't they what a joke
Report jermaine defonebox April 3, 2013 9:30 AM BST
Mind you nothing is as confusing as the ludicrous points and holiday bonus c rap I doubt anyone  understands that
