When was the last time we were 'smashed up' in a qualifier?
Probably have to go back to the McLaren era away in Croatia for that. |
By:
You wanna back them at odds-on?
By:
biscuit only backs 1/20 chances.
By:
Can't say i'd be rushing to back them at odds on jed but there's a difference between that and thinking they won't be smashed.
Hodgson's style is too dour to let us get soundly beaten. He'd take a point right now. |
By:
Yes, maybe "smashed up" is a bit strong, if you want to argue semantics.
But the basic point still stands, we are a ridiculous price. |

kenilworth, is there any value to be had here on the exotics? If you'd be good enough to share your thoughts, preferably before the game is finished, I'd be most appreciative.

biscuit only backs 1/20 chances. 'ark at the betting guru who in recent weeks has tipped up: 1.33 Sheff united at home to then bottom of the table Hartlepool. Lost. 1.45 Swindon at home to then bottom of the table Bury, the 'bet of the season'. Lost. 4/9 Everton/Man City FA Cup double. Lost. Then yesterday told us that 1.29 on NZ to beat England was 'a gift'. Lost. Get back in your box. |

I misses the cricket won biscuit. I must check the fora more thoroughly.
By:
i dont think he said NZ were a gift. i cant believe they didnt win myself
By:
They prepared three pitches to produce three draws. They didn't deserve to win. That sort of cowardly behaviour almost resulted in the death of Test cricket before Shane Warne came along.

I don't know too much about test cricket betting but is 1.29 NZ not a gift? kenilworth 25 Mar 13 11:43 ...so 1.29 would be seen as a gift? kenilworth 25 Mar 13 17:24 The draw would only happen if it suits both sides but this doesn't suit NZ, they want to win the series as they deserve it. Sounds like a man who piled in to me.............. |

By:
"They want to win the series as they deserve it."
That sentence says it all. |
By:
any england team news?
By:
interesting take on the draw there
By:
England will do these foreign gypos hard up their anuses. Fact.
By:
You mean "the draw would only happen if it suits both sides?"
That's a good one, even for supernap. |
By:
England DNB for me, just to be on the safe side.
By:
Mr Breader- I admire your eloquent tipping manner!
By:
I would back England but sorry for me smelling is not good enough to be a center back... he will be troubled by dajamnovic, jovetic and vucinic the latter two are likely to start I suppose. A goal scoring draw is probably on the cards

I think England will win as they seem quite up for it and I think Montenegro are over rated. England just over even and away from home, not sure if that is worth it though, but was 1.8 earlier in week.
By:
That England team is jank, no creativity, poor CBs with Hart behind.
No bet for me but I expect Montenegro to score and get a result. |

opposition massively up for it - i expect 1-1 or 1-2 FT

England will win here, our night to shine. We're normally impressive in these games before going to pot in the big tournies. Feeling very confident

A country with a population of 600k vs a country with a population of 6mil it'll be a bit bad if we do get beat.
By:
*60mil

By:
Don't matter about the size of the population, no Englishman can play football properly. It is as simple as that.
