Estudiantes are a mess at the moment. They have been leading in 4 out their 5 league games yet still haven't recorded a victory. I'm not sure their players get on with their manager and defeat to Velez tonight could be curtains for him. I think the players want him out.
Velez have really picked it up in the Copa Libertadores of late with back to back wins over Penarol.
They have been a bit unlucky in the league so far this season, especially as they have been playing some games with reserves and youth players. They will use the best they have tonight (they still have some important players missing) and that should be good enough to record a victory over the shambolic Estudiantes.
Not only have Estudiantes failed to beat Velez in their last 5 meetings but they failed to score even a goal in any of those 5 games!!!

Estudiantes have been dominating the game tbf, they have hit the bar and had a disallowed goal. Velez with 1 or 2 chances but nothing of it.
would say estudiantes deserve to be in front, but if they don't take there chance soon then i could just see velez nicking it from them !! |

No bother 0-0 HT, Expect velez manager to wake them up in the changing rooms, he does not look happy with that first half showing...and should come out better second half !!
