I play overs and high overs, had an really bad streak this week/last week but today I decided all or nothing, If I lost my bank I'd quit for a while. I mostly played over 1.5 @ half time instead of the high overs, at odds around 3 and had an insane run, I think I must have binked like 75%~ of all bets, I overstaked like 10+units per game too today so I have my best day ever Happy Only 10units loss I had was o3,5 in the bayern game

For whatever reason I like The Strongest to do well here.  Galo well ahead in the group and will probably be a little relaxed coming into this one, and of course they will suffer in the altitude.  The Strongest have impressed me so far, nice crowd support and I think they believe they can progress in the group.

Report Horangi. March 14, 2013 1:48 AM GMT
Seems like most of the teams with high altitude use the long range shot to their advantage.

Report duffy March 14, 2013 1:49 AM GMT
altitude has killed mineiro already by the looks of it....how ronaldinho is supposed to suck in enough air to keep going through those teeth is anybody's guessGrin
Report Quatsch March 14, 2013 1:50 AM GMT
Maybe it's the altitude thing, but I feel that if Atlético Mineiro could be bothered to throw one or two more men forward when they've got possession of the ball, they could have had so many more chances. The home team are running forward like headless chickens on every attack; although they got the equalizer (and deserved it for their effort), they could have much better chances if they'd just keep their cool and not go for the first shooting opportunity.
Report Horangi. March 14, 2013 1:50 AM GMT
Ronny actually been one of the better players for Atletico, holding up the ball well.

corinthians cruising in the other game, been in total control from the start
Report Horangi. March 14, 2013 1:51 AM GMT
Quatch I think the full backs and holding midfielders are under instructions from the manager not to go forward.  Trying to stay compact and conserve energy by sitting deep and just letting their front 4 get forward when they get the ball.
Report joe9000 March 14, 2013 2:00 AM GMT
interesting stat from twitter - first time Pato has played 11 consecutive games since 2009. Leaving Milan is working out well for the lad, was big risk for his career
Report Quatsch March 14, 2013 2:00 AM GMT
Well, I think that's a mistake from their coach. I believe that if they'd gone for another goal rather than sit back after having scored the opener, there's a very good chance that they would have scored another. There have been two or three times when they could have outnumbered their opponents, if only they'd have one more midfielder to 'connect' with the attackers who had the ball on the counter-attack.

As the game goes on, the altitude factor will really come into play and when that happens you don't want to have just the one goal advantage to sit on -- or, as it stands now, a score draw to defend. The Strongest look like they can keep this pace up forever. They'll get their chances, just hope for their sake that they don't waste 'em all.

Anyway, it's a very enjoyable game. Maybe not one for the purists who prefer tiki-taki, but I'd pay to watch these guys in real life if I had the chance to. Cool
Report Zeze22 March 14, 2013 2:01 AM GMT
Do Americans ever organize a game to start on time? Every time an MLS game or CONCACAF game involving a USA team is about to kick off it takes another 15 or 20 mins to do so!
Report joe9000 March 14, 2013 2:03 AM GMT
Galaxy and NYRB matches r always the worst from my experience. never ever on time
Report Horangi. March 14, 2013 2:04 AM GMT
MLS matches never start on the scheduled time.  The starting time is usually the start time of the tv broadcast, usually starts almost 10 mins after.
Report Zeze22 March 14, 2013 2:05 AM GMT
Might sound stupid but I wouldn't be surprised if they do it for their precious advertising time before kickoff! Sure they advertise products in the middle of MLS games, crazy. Hope that never ever catches on over here
