San Martin, without a win in their last 12, are gonna win one soon. They are deep trouble in the Averages table yet they have played quite well this season. They lost 3-0 away to Velez last week but for long parts San Martin were the better team and were desperately unlucky to lose never mind lose 3-0. In their last 7 home games it has been 5 draws and 2 defeats so at least they are better at home.
In their last home game they held Newell's to a 1-1 draw. But they need wins. If they don't win soon they will be playing in Division B next season.
What on earth do you make of Racing? One of the giants of Argentinian football but yet seem to lurch from one crisis to the next. They had a brilliant pre-season and many thought they had a huge chance of winning this Title. But they have been poor this season so far and rumour are already underway regarding their head coach. Racing's performance in the Derby against Independiente a fortnight ago was just unacceptable. They didn't even have a shot on target the whole game. They decided to play defensive against Lanus at home last week and it paid off as they held on for a credible 0-0 draw.
They seem better at home than away. Their two away performances this season so far have been disgraceful. Losing 3-0 at Rafaela followed by their shocking Derby defeat.
I don't know how much to read into this but there are stories in the Argentine press of Racing willing to "give this game up" as it would seriously hinder their fierce rivals Independiente in the Averages table. San Martin and Independiente are two of the teams in deep trouble in the Averages table. Certainly the Racing fans won't be too disappointed with a defeat tonight.
Personally I'm not buying it but I thought I would let you all know the rumour anyway.
Regardless of rumours I have backed San Martin on the Asians. When I placed my bet Racing were favs to win this game and that is utter madness. Win, lose or draw, I could not put a penny on Racing - especially away from home - at the moment.

i tink it appeared the ref just blew it up and as they got past 90 mins and added time is up to him, it'll be just seen as full time not an abandonment

Yeah for about 5 or 6 mins then in the 88th minute the game was suspended and they never restarted

thats bout that. what'll happen from the league pov is that it'll stay suspended and then a meeting will be held in coming days where they'll just confirm it as a 3-0 win imo. as from a betting side of tings, i'm baffled y Befair were so quick to settle, they are in the wrong doing that i think

I mean Racing were 3-0 up with a few mins left - it will be settled as a 3-0 win for Racing when the AFA meet. They really should pay out as a 3-0 win. It benefited me but it's hollow. It's an injustice to anyone who backed Raing

Same here, I layed the away side, was nicely in profit, got up this morning to see the winnings had been taken from my account!! ffs, its no less than theft. I honestly thought someone had hacked my account when I first seen it this morning. But I guess, in reality that is what actually happened. Bloody disgrace.
