Most french teams the same policy, once they get their nose infront kill the game rather than make an effort. Football has turned very negative. Teams would rather keep a clean sheet than attack most of the time.
This isn't as bad as Newell's Old Boys last night (who were happy passing the ball around and keeping four players at the back even though they were losing 1 - 2), but Valencia aren't risking much, either.
